The overall objective of ITIC-2018 is to promote smart solutions in rural areas to enhance food security. The ITIC-2018 is looking to collect applications from ITIC Solution Hubs (comprising of trainees from each county), educational institutions, NGOs and private businesses with the following goals:-

  1. To offer a platform to showcase technologies and innovations that enhance food security
  2. To identify scalable food security technologies that can be valuable in the agribusiness sector
  3. To develop county-based Solution Hubs that offer training, actualization and uptake of innovative technologies
